A ALMOST PERFECT ENDING TO A SERIES THAT LITERALLY WARMED HEART

How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World
DreamWorks Animation’s “How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World” is a surprising tale about growing up, finding the courage to face the unknown…and how nothing can ever train you to let go.

After almost a decade, we closed the final chapter on Hiccup and Toothless and our beloved characters from Berk. It was hard to find something about How to Train Your Dragons: The Hidden World to dislike. We’re taken on an emotional ride as Hiccup and Toothless make hard decisions about what their future looks like.

SPOTLIGHT ON TOOTHLESS

Toothless and his attempts to mate with the Light Furry was definitely a highlight for me. I loved seeing Toothless just be a super adorable dragon. We also get to see Toothless breath fire and use his electric abilities. This was definitely fun to see on screen and highlighted how awesome this film looks. The lighting throughout the film and the movement of the elements was another standout for me.

Listen Now – Happy Death Day 2U

After defeating our antagonist Grimmel we see Hiccup and Toothless part ways in an emotional moment. The dragons escape to the hidden world and we eventually see Hiccup and Astrid marry. In the near future Hiccup and Toothless reunite with their families and we get a super sweet scene of the families flying the skies together.

THE VERDICT?

This was a super adorable movie perfect for both families and adults alike. As far as ratings, this gets a solid A from me – the first of 2019. What did you think of this final chapter of How to Train Your Dragon? Let me know below or on Instagram and Twitter!
