CAN WE JUST LET PETER LIVE?

Phase three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has officially closed with the release of Spider-Man: Far From Home. Starring Tom Holland as our titular character we watch him deal with the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame. I’m discussing my thoughts on the movie, the future of Spider-Man and the MCU and so much more on this episode.

NO SPOILERS (MOSTLY)

I don’t want to be the bearer of spoilers and would prefer to leave them on the podcast episode. The non spoiler spiel is that Peter finds himself juggling being a teenager and the responsibility of being a superhero. I thought the acting across the board was solid and it I loved seeing Jake Gyllenhall giving us villainy with Mysterio.

Listen Now – Avengers: Endgame

We get some answers as far as how the students move on following Endgame. The mid and end credit scenes set us up for the future. There’s no word on what Phase 4 looks like but I’m confident that we’re in good hands. *spoilers* I definitely want to see how Peter moves forward following Mysterio’s outing of his identity.

FINAL THOUGHTS

I do want to note that now that we’ve seen Peter in five movies I’d love for the next standalone not to have so much onscreen support from the other MCU characters. Peter Parker is more than capable of carrying the the movie alone. With all of that being said this movie gets a B+ from me.
