EVEN MORE MID FINALES HAPPENED AND I’M DISCUSSING THEM ALL

I’ve got a fresh round of finales to discuss and we’ve got so much to dissect in so little time. This go around we’re going from the emergency room to a hall of assassins and rounding it all out with a tall glass of tears. I give my quick take on these shows below!

THE ADORABLE DOCTOR

For it’s sophomore season The Good Doctor had a lot of highs and a few lows. I love that we got to get a little more personal with our team of doctors. Morgan has officially be redeemed and her most hated slot taken by Dr. Hahn. I was kind of here for the Lim and Melendez hook up and I’m glad to see Dr. Glassman out of the weeds. The most adorable scene of the entire season goes to Dr. Shaun Murphy and his super sweet moment asking … on a date. I mean, come on people!

THESE ASSASSINS PROVED TO BE DEADLY

I was pleasantly surprised by Deadly Class. Don’t get me wrong, I love a action packed show but this was action packed times three. There was a lot of blood and some pretty gross moments but overall I’m excited to see where this show goes. The standouts for me were definitely Marcus and Saya. I’ve had my fill of Maria and wouldn’t be sad to see her go. Chester was probably the most disgusting, disturbing and horrific antagonist I’ve seen on television. I’m glad he’s dead and I’m hopping next season’s antagonist is a little less disturbing.

Listen Now – Winter Finales: Manifest, This Is Us, The Good Doctor, Empire + More

ALL HAIL LIGHTNING

This was definitely the Jenn Pierce show. We got to see her come into her own as she figured out her powers. Of course we didn’t get to see her suit up until the final episode but it was worth the wait. We finally see Tobias be put away so hopefully we won’t see him for a while. It looks like we aren’t done with Khalil yet and we’ll be seeing more of him next season. Season 3 has the Pierce family facing off against an even bigger threat. All I know is that I want to see more family field fighting next season.

THIS IS THE FUTURE US

It was a long road for the Pearson family all around this season on This Is Us. We had to watch Randall and Beth struggle with their marriage. They finally introduce us to Jack’s brother Nicky and this causes Kevin to relapse and turn to alcohol. Kate went into premature birth and we got to see her and Toby parent a premie. I don’t think anything left me with more questions than the final flash forward.

The Pearsons are gathering because of Rebecca. We see that Randall and Beth are still going strong, Kevin has young kids, Nicky is involved and Jack has a family. I still have so many questions that need answers. Where is Kate and is she and Toby still married? Who did Kevin marry or not marry but got knocked up and where is he? Why isn’t Miguel by Rebecca’s bedside? Where are the rest of Randall and Beth’s kids? I’m going to need some answers next season.

FINAL THOUGHTS?

I enjoyed all of these shows this season. Double plus for having a shorter season in general. I definitely have a lot of questions, but I’m sure we’ll get some answers next season. I want to know what you guys thought? Let me know below or on Instagram and Twitter
