We’re about to head full force into the holiday season, so I thought it only right to decode some exercises that may work best at getting you to and keeping you in the gym. For me personally, my gym frequency relies heavily on the classes I can take. BodyPump is an exercise I never really tried until I joined the gym. This exercise works best in the gym in a group session but there are some videos online.

So what exactly is BodyPump? It’s a weight based fitness program that incorporates eight tracks, a warm up and a cool down with each song targeting a specific muscle group. During the 60 minute class expect to use free weights including plates, a barbell and a step. You will also work out major muscle groups utilizing squats, presses and dead lifts.
