After a long, and sometimes stressful week, we look to the weekend to relax and do all of the things we couldn’t do throughout the week. It can be hard to start the weekend on a high note with a week’s worth of fatigue and stress on your shoulders. Yoga is a great relaxing exercise that aids in stress relief. These three yoga poses are sure to help you relax and re-energize for a productive and stress free weekend. Check them out below!

Corpse Pose (Savasana)

Lay flat on your back on a mat with your palms facing upward. Completely relax every muscle in your body.

Child’s Pose (Balasana)

Sitting back on your heels, lean forward stretching your arms, palm up, to the side by your legs. Relax and breath into the pose.

Reclining Bound Angle Pose (Supta Baddha Konasana)

Lie on your back with a rolled towel under your neck, place the soles of you feet together under your groin. Relax your body with your hands palm up and arm wide at your sides. This pose helps open the chest and promotes better breathing.
