Oh hey, so I thought I’d update you on my fitness progress for 2015 so far since we’re about three weeks in. Can you believe January is almost over? Yea, I know!

Anywho, so I never really posted about my fitness plans for this year and I very briefly covered it on Glam Deets. This year I’m kind of going with the flow and what I know works for me. Last year it was all about toning which led to me doing pilates and yoga. I also planned to bike last year, but then I moved and it got put on the back burner.

This year I’m all about yoga. I am not messing around. I have a gym membership but I mostly use it for yoga classes. I go to yoga three times a week for the moment and I’m trying to work a cardio something into that. The three classes I go to are taught by different teachers and they each focus on something different. My absolute favorite one is my Thursday evening class because the instructor works us out. We get a good stretch and a good sweat. We also do a lot of moves that focus on the core and building upper body strength.

Even though I live in Cali (I mean I’m in the Bay and it does get a tad bit cold) I haven’t really seen many outdoor classes but I’m sure as we inch towards spring a lot of them will pop up. I will get a bike this year. It’s actually almost inevitable. I kind of know what I want but that number one on my fitness “to purchase” list.

I’m also scoping out some runs. The Color Run is doing a a Shine tour which looks like it involves glitter and I’m all for some glitter. I plan to do a couple of dog walk/runs since the one I did with Mystre a couple of years ago for some reason didn’t hold any events last year. By the time I research other runs it was too late, but I’m on it this year.

Those are pretty much my fitness plans for the year. Yoga, biking, walk/runs and eating healthy/maintaining my vegan lifestyle. Other that that, that’s pretty much it!
