Oh hey! So summer is just about over and I wanted to update you all on my personal fitness journey. Incase you missed it, I relocated across the country to California so for about a month I didn’t do much exercising besides walking.

I joined a gym. I haven’t been a member of a gym in like three to four years so this shall be interesting. Typically when I join a gym it’s to take advantage of classes. I figured with the weather change it would be easier for me to actually go to the gym after work since this particular gym is just about everywhere in the Bay Area. So far I’ve taken Body Pump which the after effects… omg my entire body ached for at least three days. I also took U Jam, which I enjoyed since I’ve been trying to get back into dancing. Of course I’ll still be doing my yoga.

As for what next… I’m going to create a solid gym incorporated routine. I also want to do a hike or two before it gets too cold since I’m close to some good hiking trails. I still want to get a bike. I know, I know– it’s about to get cold but that was one of my fitness goals and I put it off because I knew I would be relocating. Now that I’m here it’s not too late to get a bike.

As far as eating goes, I’ve been eating pretty blah. I’m apartment hunting so I’m staying with my sister and it’s just something about trying to establish an eating routine in a setting that’s not really ideal… so yea. That’s about it. I’ve been slacking on the Insta front, but that shall improve so be sure to follow me to see what I’m up to throughout the week.
