Oh how I love me a good portobello burger! When season right, you can totally skip the condiments. This recipe is easy and so flavorful. Mushrooms are a great protein replacement that vegans and meat eaters alike can enjoy without missing the meat. Check out the foolproof recipe below!
2 Portobello Caps
1 tbsp margarine
Minced or chopped garlic
Salt & pepper, to taste
Marinate portobello caps in olive oil, garlic and rosemary for at least an hour. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place caps on a baking sheet and add salt and pepper. Add 1tsp of margarine (I used Earth Balance) to each side and roast in oven for about 10-15 minutes each side. Add to bread or a bun and garnish with toppings of your choice and enjoy!
