SPOILER ALERT! (stop reading if you don’t want to know what happens in this episode)

Are you breathing yet…? A lot of good things happened during this episode and I’m still trying to figure out how I feel about some of it. Definitely a great finale and it totally made me excited about next season. Check out the recap below!

Victoria and Daniel are with Margeaux as Pascal’s body is being transported back to Paris. They decide not to go to Conrad’s bail hearing so it doesn’t seem like they support him. Conrad tries to make a case that the audio of his confession is inadmissible but the judge has a packet of evidence that proves he did what he did and his bail is denied. He also tells him that David Clarke’s case will be reopened and as quickly as he was convicted so too would Conrad be as well.

Emily and crew toast to Conrad’s imprisonment and the possible clearing of her father’s name, but Nolan lets her know that the cabin that someone was using to keep tabs on Charlotte is indeed her father’s. Emily tells them to let her deal with whoever is staying in the cabin.

Margeaux appoints Daniel as her second in demand. Her brother Gideon shows up and claims that he’s there to make nice with his sister and fly back with her to their father’s funeral. He tells her that he holds no grudges and wants to do lunch.

Javier pays Nolan a visit to apologize and tells him that he was right. Nolan tells him not to go too far because he has big plans for MyClone. Pascal’s case is reopened and because of the original letter that Pascal wrote in connection with the plane crash. There is now cause to believe that Conrad murdered him. and his lawyer suggests that he try to make a deal or face life in prison.

We find out that Victoria is behind Charlotte’s letters and is using it to trap Emily. Emily goes to the cabin and ends up fighting Victoria’s PI. She gets the upper hand but realizes she’s been stuck with a needle. She escapes and tells Aiden that the guy was working with Victoria and that she’s on to who she really is.

Gideon meets with Nolan about taking over his father’s company so they can partner up and take down both Daniel and Margeaux. They plan to hurt Daniel because that will in turn hurt Margeaux and force her out. Charlotte is working with the police to find her kidnapper, but they can’t find him. She’s upset with Victoria after everything she found out about her role in David Clarke’s imprisonment.

Conrad isn’t fairing well in jail because everyone is very upset with him and his role in the plane crash. A guard beats him up but is stopped by another one before he can do any more damage. He goes to the chapel and cries during a prayer before he’s interrupted by the same guard who beat him, telling him that he may be able to help him.

Aiden goes to Michelle Banks to get any records she may have on Victoria not knowing it’s a setup and Victoria is actually there. The tea he drank was laced with a toxin and Victoria uses that to get the upper hand. He gets her in a good choke hold before he collapses from paralysis and then she suffocates him with a pillow.

Emily is at the Stowaway when she and Jack hear the news that her father’s case has been overturned by the US District Court clearing him of all crimes. Jack tells her that Amanda and Declan would be proud of her and he is too. She returns home and goes to tell Aiden the news but she finds him on the couch dead with his eyes and mouth open. She tries to wake him but he’s dead and she creams as Victoria listens from her balcony (so cruel).

Nolan tries to console Emily because she’s not handling Aiden’s death well. She tells him that she’s lost her will to live. Nolan and Jack talk about the circumstances of Aiden’s death and Nolan believes Victoria should die. Jack thinks this will only drive Emily even deeper than where she already is and they both agree they need to protect her not know that she’s left the house.

Emily goes to Michelle and promises to make her pay for assisting Victoria in Aiden’s death. She shows her the video of her as a little girl and tells her that she destroyed that little girl. She then goes to Charlotte to convince her to move David’s body but she thinks she’s crazy. Charlotte tells Victoria what Emily told her and Victoria shows up at the grave as Emily is digging up a grave.

Victoria tells her that she knows who she really is and threatens to expose her. Emily tells her that she’s not digging up her father’s grave, she’s digging up Amanda’s. Victoria asks her why right before Emily hits her across the head with the shovel.

Jack and Nolan are searching for Emily but can’t find her. Charlotte shows up at the Stowaway and asks Jack to tell her what’s going on and why he involved Emily. Jack can’t tell her and she turns to leave but he grabs her. She has flashbacks of her kidnapping and puts two and two together. She goes to the authorities and they take him in for questioning.

Gideon takes Daniel out and gets him drunk. He wakes up and talks to Margeaux on the phone not realizing there’s a dead girl next to him. Gideon takes a picture of the dead girl and a sleeping Daniel to Nolan who freaks out because that wasn’t what they originally planned. Gideon assures him that everything will be fine and they’ll push Daniel out of the company.

The officer who beat Conrad when he first arrived helps hm escape by pretending that Conrad is a priest. A giddy Conrad is walking down an empty street thinking that he’s gotten off scott free. A van pulls up behind him and a hooded man gets out. Conrad realizes who he is and the person takes off his hood and it’s David Clarke! He pulls out a knife, stabs and twists it in Conrad’s gut and leaves him in the middle of the street bleeding and dead.

We end with Victoria waking up and Emily hovering over her. Emily set Victoria up to make it look like she dug up Amanda Clarke’s grave and that she was going crazy trying to say that Emily was really Amanda. Victoria demands a second doctor’s opinion and Michelle Banks walks in and agrees with that first doctor that Victoria is crazy and should be kept constrained at the psych facility. Victoria goes crazy and they rush to sedate her as a very satisfied Emily leaves the room.

Some takeaways…

– Who didn’t know that Aiden was going to die. Definitely didn’t see Conrad dying as well. Kind of mad that they had us believing David was dead for three seasons. Not sure how I feel about it yet, but it’ll make for good material in the future.

– This was a really great finale that left A LOT of questions unanswered. I’ll admit, I didn’t know how the writers would be able to take this into another season but how things ended… next season should be really really good.

– We will for sure be back for all of the crazy revengyness that’s sure to come in the fall and hope you’ll join us along for the ride!

Were you surprised that David Clarke is still alive? Did Victoria and Conrad get what they deserved? Let us know your thoughts below!

Until next season, it’s been a blast tweeting and recapping this season!
