So I got some good size samples of KeraCare’s Natural Textures line thanks to my mother. I have been testing out a few of the products, three so far, a part two will follow.

Results after using Butter Cream

I absolutely love the Butter Cream Everyday Moisturizer and plan to purchase a full size jar. My hair honestly has not felt the way it made it feel, on dry hair, in a while. It has a thick consistency, so a little goes a long way. My hair was moisturized, manageable, very minimal shrinkage; I absolutely love this stuff! I had been using SheaMoisture prior to, but it has a very wet base so my hair tended to shrink a lot. Due to that fact, I have not been using it on dry hair except for bunning or puffs. My braidout after using the Butter Cream was ah-maz-ing! I’ve also used it on a puff. The Butter Cream moisturizer is a definite keeper.

Now to the not so good. The Hair Milk  Daily Hair Sustainer dried my hair out! My hair was not having it. The ends of my hair knotted or broke off a little as a result. I don’t know if anyone else has experienced this, but I was not happy. The consistency of the Hair Milk is very light, so I think it would work better on someone with a looser curl pattern or finer hair; that’s just my opinion. I still have a good amount left, but I won’t be trying it on my hair again.

The floater is the Twist & Define Cream. I used it on a braid out and it was just…eh. The consistency was a little sticky, something that I did not too much care for. To be fair I am going to try it out on my twists since I wear twists a lot during the fall/winter; so I will definitely keep you updated.

Butter Cream yes; Hair Milk no; Twist & Define Cream maybe. I still have Cleansing Cream Moisturizing Curl Wash, Leave In Conditioner and Defining Custard to try out so stay tuned for part two!
